InspireThe Inspire Foundation was established in 1996 in direct response to Australia’s then escalating rates of youth suicide. By working directly with young people aged 14-25 years we deliver innovative, technology and evidence-based programs which prevent youth suicide and promote young people’s mental health and wellbeing. Our 2020 vision is to make a global contribution to young people’s mental health and wellbeing, with every young Australian knowing, trusting and using Inspire’s programs when they need to. To achieve this we are building an Inspire community of young people, professionals, families, donors, teachers and supporters who care deeply for young people and their wellbeing. Our ultimate dream is for a world where every young person can stand up and say “I am happy”. Jack Heath, Executive Director and Founder says “We’re delighted that Steve has come on board as an Ambassador. His spirit of adventure and sheer determination to follow his dreams make him not just an outstanding Ambassador for Inspire, but an excellent model for all young people. Steve sends a very clear message that young people can change their world, and make a real difference in their own lives and in the lives of others.” |
