THE MAN Jimmy (1978-2001)

The inspiration the Lost On… journeys is one of my best friends James ‘Jimmy’ Moore – who lost his life after one of our many camping adventures many years ago. He was the perfect traveler and the ultimate of all dreamers. Jimmy lived his life the best way he knew, to the fullest. He was a man whose imagination was more powerful than Einstein.

Jimmy was the bohemian traveler. Travelling with nothing more than a chessboard, a pool-cue and the clothes on his back. Cruising Australia in a pair of thongs (flip-flops) and a few dollars in his wallet he was able to traverse the country without a hitch. An amazing man who deserved to live, and who continues to live inside us.

This is why Lost On Earth is supporting the Inspire Foundation. More people should have the chance to live out their dreams and turn them into reality. Life is for living. Every person who met this gentleman will know. Jimmy was a man full of love and compassion for every living person. Jimmy was dedicated to experiencing his life to the fullest.

No life should ever be wasted. Every life should be cherished.
